Al-Quran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Allah). It is widely regarded as the finest piece of literature in the Arabic language. It is the final and most perfect expression of the teachings of the Abrahamic religions. The Quran is divided into chapters called suras, which are then divided into verses. Each sura is composed of a series of verses. The meaning of a given verse is often unclear, so it is necessary to read it in the context of the whole sura and the overall flow of the text.

Al-Quran was revealed in the form of a book to the Prophet Muhammad in the 7th century, as a collection of stories called the Panchang. The word "Quran" is derived from the Arabic word "al-Qur'an" meaning "the revelation." According to one of the six major narratives (Ahmad, Dhahabi, Abu Dawud, Al-Baydawi, Al-Suyuti, and Al-Waqi), the Quran was revealed to the Prophet in a vision. The word "Quran" therefore literally means "that which is revealed" or "the right instruction." In Islam, the Quran is the central religious text and the culmination of divine revelation. It is believed by Muslims to be the last and final revelation, and Muslims regard the Quran as the only book that was revealed to the Prophet and the only book that was preserved without corruption.
